We finish 202o by finishing the Book of the Prophet Malachi and decide (unless we hear strong a strong veto from someone) that we will being 2021 with the Gospel of John which we haven’t read since the early 90s.

Today we read through to the end of Malachi, chapter 2. Next week on to chapter 3.

Having finished Haggai last week, we began Malachi and read the first chapter. Next week we continue with chapter 2.

Haggai.

We read through Chapter 2:9 today.

We completed Zephaniah today. On to Haggai.

Today we read through to the end of Zephaniah chapter 2.

We started Zephaniah and read through Chapter 1, Verse 13. 

Today we finished Joel, and decided to start Zechariah (Yes gentlemen, we have read it before, back in 2001).

Today we read through Joel 3:8.

We all agree where we ended. We completed through Joel 2:27. Where we disagree is where we begin next week. We learned that the chapters and verses are split differently in those translations based on the Hebrew versions and those based in Greek. For the Hebrew versions, which includes the Jerusalem Bible we will start with Joel 3:1, for those based in the Greek chapter and verses, which includes King James and (New) Revised Standard Versions, we will be starting at Chapter 2:28.
